Internship Database
One of the newest initiatives for professional development in the IAS is the creation of an internship database. This database relies on members to share where they’ve been employed as interns, and allows others who are looking for internships to reach out for information. This is one way the IAS promotes and facilitates networking between future leaders.
Development Workshops
Partnering with the University’s Career Center allows us to tailor workshops to fit the needs and interests of our members. The IAS regularly hosts resume workshops before applications are due to help prepare students for success. We also invite industry professionals to speak on a panel about how they found a career in different sectors, from conflict resolution to private corporations.
